		Koni FSD - (P/N incudes 4 shocks) In standard shock absorbers the rebound damping characteristic is defined by the oil flow through the piston assembly (1). The Koni Frequency Selective Damper has an extra valve (2) that controls an oil flow parallel to the piston assembly. This valve opens for ample movement of fluid over high frequency inputs such as expansion joints and rough roads, which gives the vehicle a smooth ride. When the vehicle body begins moving over low frequency inputs such as cornering transitions and long bumps, the FSD valve is closed and makes an immediate increase in the damping force for optimal control. Since the valve is an integrated part of the hydraulic valve system, no additional cables, sensors or any other electronic devices are needed.
