Convertible X Brace Support
P/N 1404 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible
The Hotchkis Performance X brace for 67-69 F-Body cars was designed to add rigidity to the chassis by replacing the flimsy factory brace. As an added benefit this brace allows for the use of larger tube exhaust systems which often requires removal of the factory brace. Fabricated from 10 gauge steel, this brace features extra reinforcing gussets, laser etched Hotchkis logo, powder coated gloss black finish and stainless mounting hardware. This is a must have finishing touch for any Convertible restoration. |

Strut and Shock Tower Braces

Reduce unwanted shock tower chassis flex and positively locate the shock towers. Hotchkis Shock Tower Braces enhance front end stability, dampen front end vibration and reduce cowl shake. Hotchkis Subframe Connectors strengthen the chassis of your Camaro/Firebird to increase cornering and straight line performance. They are engineered to strengthen the chassis and provide maximum ground clearance, also they reduce T-top and dash rattles. Fabricated from 1 1/2" X 2" steel tubing and finished in gloss black powdercoat. Easy weld in installation.

Sub Frame Connectors
The Hotchkis Performance sub-frame connectors for 67-69 F-Body cars were designed to add rigidity to the chassis to improve vehicle performance by reducing chassis flex. Fabricated from 1.5" x 2.5" .120 wall rectangular steel, these TIG welded connectors come powder coated gloss black and include urethane front body mounts. Installation of these connectors does not require modifications or cutting of the floor boards. The rear mount is a weld in, while the front mount is a bolt in with the option to weld.

Included in the system are an exclusive new high-tech cross brace and subframe connectors. The result is a strengthened chassis, added structural integrity, and drastically improved handling. Chassis Max connects the subframe to the leaf spring pickup points, making your F-body rock solid. Hotchkis designed the system to work with up to 3-inch diameter dual exhaust. The superior multi-piece design contours around the undercarriage, maintaining ground clearance and a clean look. Chassis Max reduces stress on valuable paint and bodywork, and you can finally reap the full rewards of a built engine and good tires.
All three components in the Chassis Max System were CAD designed and manufactured in the USA using precision CNC machines. A durable gloss black powdercoat finish means the parts won't chip or crack, and all necessary polyurethane subframe mount bushings and hardware is included. |
