Canton's 302 pan is available in a standard style, an "S" version for use with a main support, and a pro-style version. Canton's "S" version, 15-644S, comes without a crank scraper for main support clearance. Canton's pro-style version, 15-646, has a large block high oil recovery pouch to collect oil coming off the crank and maximize horsepower gains. DRAG RACE WET SUMP OIL PANS - ALUMINUM FORD REAR SUMP
Just like Canton's steel Ford power series oil pans Canton's Aluminum series oil pans feature a horsepower saving oil recovery pouch with crank scraper. On the aluminum versions the oil recovery pouch extends both sides of the pan outward of the mounting bolts away from the crankshaft, creating an open pocket for oil coming off the rotating assembly to collect and drain into the sump. This thins out the atmosphere of oil in the crankcase an frees up horsepower.
Pans are available in deep sumps for fox chassis and box style sumps for open chassis. |

Aluminum Fox body drag race pro-style power pans are designed with a deep rear sump for increased oil capacity and control. The Pans feature a slosh baffle, a provision for a pan mounted dipstick, and magnetic drain plugs. For maximum power these pans are designed to work with Canton's one-way screen windage trays, which mount directly to the main caps studs. The large oil recovery pouch requires the side mounting bolts to be accessed through plugs in the bottom of the pan. Works with long tube headers. |

Canton steel circle track pans are fabricated from 16 gauge .059" steel, assembled and welded on steel fixtures to ensure each pan is correct, triple block fitted to ensure a proper fit, double leak tested, chemically cleaned to remove scale, and plated with a gold iridite finish.
These oil pans are designed for circle track applications where a stock appearing oil pan is required, such as strictly stocks or mini-stocks. They feature trap door baffles, a crank scraper, and a removable windage tray to direct oil to the right side where the Canton pickup is positioned. Stock dimensions and capacity are retained, but Canton's specially designed baffling system ensures anything but stock oil control. |

The heart of any circle track oil pan is its baffling. The baffling systems in Canton's Competition oil pans are the result of extensive testing on all types of tracks and engine configurations.
Canton's competition left-turn Ford pans feature three trap doors, directional runners, and a bolt in slosh baffle designed and positioned for maximum oil control. A crank scraper reduces crank windage and saves horsepower. These pans also feature an oil level check or a provision for Canton's pan mounted dipstick, a temperature fitting, and magnetic drain plugs. |

FORD 2300 COMPETITION SERIES OIL PANS
Canton's competition Ford 2300 left-turn oil pans feature trap door baffles, directional runners and a bolt in slosh baffle designed and positioned for maximum oil control. A crank scraper reduces crank windage and saves pan mounted dipstick, a temperature fitting, and magnetic drain plug. Pans will work with a stock starter. |

DRY SUMP OIL PANS
Canton's dry sump oil pans utilize built in windage trays and precise pickup location to efficiently scavenge oil and free up horsepower. Pickup tubes are designed to be easy to clean with large non-screened tube openings and, in most pans, tube clean out ports. In addition, Canton's power series dry sump pans include an oil recovery pouch to collect oil coming off the rotating assembly.
