Stop Tech Brake Hoses

Teflon-lined, braided stainless steel hoses provide better performance than the stock rubber hoses with a firmer brake pedal, quicker braking response and better brake modulation. These hoses are considered a safety requirement for any car that is raced. The high heat generated during track use has been known to cause failure of the stock rubber hoses.

Maximum Motorsports was the first to offer direct replacement stainless steel brake hoses for Mustangs over 10 years ago. All new for 2003, MM's exclusive brake hoses are still the best available. New features include the ability of the hose end to swivel at the chassis prior to tightening. This allows perfect alignment to accommodate production tolerances between the chassis tab and the caliper's banjo bolt. These brake hoses are a direct fit and do not require any modification to the chassis tab. An all new brake fluid-resistant clear urethane covering helps protect the stainless steel braid. These DOT approved hoses come complete with new fluid bolts, crush washers, and copyrighted MM instructions. At this time, we only have the hose kits available that are listed below. Kits for other model years will follow.

Note:
It has been identified that Ford changed fluid bolt thread pitch in the middle of the 2003 production. Late 2003 Cars through current production, returned to coarse threads, as used in 1995-98 GT models. This complicated the aftermarket hose industry unfortunately, so make sure which thread pitch you have on 2003 models before ordering. The split occurred between July and August production of 2003 models. Call or email our tech department if you have questions as to which bolts you require.
